Guest Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 I recently downloaded some scripts, I have the server tool, and I have no idea where the files need to go. My MTA folder currently looks like this. (I had to switch browsers to use ImageShack for some stupid reason.) http://img49.imageshack.us/img49/6999/mtafolderih5.png Can anyone tell me where the script files would go?
Jani Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 It's not a stupid question at all. In order to use scripts on your server, you need a 3rd party admin tool known as MTA:mA. You can get it here: http://home.deds.nl/~aeron/files/MTAMA323.rar In order for it to work you also need mIRC. Once you've installed mIRC, create a folder in the mIRC directory called MTAMA and unzip all the files into there. Load the "mta.mrc" and you'll be presented with the interface, through which you can connect to your server, load scripts, and enable various other options. If you need any more help just post back here.
Guest Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 What should the Admin and Client ports be when setting up the server?
So'lide Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 It doesn't really matter if your firewall has the ports you speficied open.
Guest Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 Not exactly MTA specific, but how to you view your open ports?
