Guest Posted June 15, 2003 Posted June 15, 2003 (edited) I have Win ME and i installed ASE and the MTA v0.3b ok now i copy the ip off of ASE then i start the launcher , click GTAmta then in self minmizes and then the set up screen pops up as if i never installed MTA but never the less i go back to MTA and wait for the Credits then i Alt=tab but there is no GUI screen (Console) OR! anything that sayz "send request" or anything like what i have read in the other post about setting up plz help i spent like 5 hours trying to figure out this whole thing HELP!!!!!!! Guest Posted June 16, 2003 Posted June 16, 2003 I don't get it,.... the only thing i see labeled "MTA" is the Install file that i first Downloaded....and i click that and it just installs the game (the mod i mean) again.

me Posted June 16, 2003 Posted June 16, 2003 well, i found your problem get rid of mta.exe from C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA3 you put the installer in there by mistake It's a bit confusing, since the installer has the same name as the program... just remove mta.exe from there, and run it from say... your desktop. should work now.
Guest Posted June 16, 2003 Posted June 16, 2003 Yes! i uninstalled MTA and moved the intaller to the desktop and now i see the MTA.exe, thanks man! now just have to see if i can connect and play
