Guest Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 I've just been out to buy san andreas to play online.....i used to play vice city ages ago..... Anyway i'm not having a probelm with mta yet lool...its the game itself....i've installed the game and when it loads up it goes to the screen just because it starts and it goes back to my desktop.... can any 1 help ?

frank_grimes Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 The reason people are talking about downgrade is because San Andreas was updated to restrict modding after the controversy over a mod awile back. In order to play Multi Theft Auto, you must revert to the original version of San Andreas. This downgrade patching system can be found here: http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t= ... =downgrade . As soon as you do that, you should be able to use Multi Theft Auto normally.
