It's your own damn fault if you're using Vista and Race doesn't work. You should have checked before you installed. That's what you get for being a first adopter.

DM works fine in Vista. Please don't make the devs go back and release a patch for race. I'll kill you.

rofl calm down?

Just cause you can't upgrade to vista or your PC is too slow doesn't mean mine is too and i should stick to XP untill its not supported anymore :< and how much work is it to comment out the anti-cheat part of RACE?

DM is will be out before XP support is gone. If you want to play Race so badly, dual boot Vista and XP. This isn't really a big deal.

I don't know if this will help anyone or not but...

I've got vista installed (on a dual-boot as described). I haven't tried SA or anything but I have mta:vc 0.5 working fine on it (yes it took a while to find all the new hardware drivers - and I have to run it in XP SP2 compatibility mode... Doesn't mta:sa race work under it?

brophy etc are right imo - at this early stage doing anything other than dual-booting vista/xp seems silly. There just isn't the required support for vista atm.

MTA Race does not work under Vista. SA-MP does work under Vista in compatibility mode.
