paul527
It's your own damn fault if you're using Vista and Race doesn't work. You should have checked before you installed. That's what you get for being a first adopter.DM works fine in Vista. Please don't make the devs go back and release a patch for race. I'll kill you. rofl calm down? Link to comment
Ravenheart
Just cause you can't upgrade to vista or your PC is too slow doesn't mean mine is too and i should stick to XP untill its not supported anymore :< and how much work is it to comment out the anti-cheat part of RACE? Link to comment
Manej
DM is will be out before XP support is gone. If you want to play Race so badly, dual boot Vista and XP. This isn't really a big deal. Link to comment
iam2noob4u
i dont know, but if you mean running vista, xp and mta:race at one time, you need a fast pc... Link to comment
Clerlic
He probably means installing windows xp and vista on 1 computer and just restarting it when you want to play race... Link to comment
iam2noob4u
how will you be able to choose? Link to comment
Brophy
If you install vista onto a seperate hdd/partition (keeping xp or another os on another hdd/partition) u get a boot manager when u turn your pc on so u can select what os u want to use http://www.activewin.com/articles/2006/ ... anager.JPG Link to comment
Guest
I don't know if this will help anyone or not but... I've got vista installed (on a dual-boot as described). I haven't tried SA or anything but I have mta:vc 0.5 working fine on it (yes it took a while to find all the new hardware drivers - and I have to run it in XP SP2 compatibility mode... Doesn't mta:sa race work under it? brophy etc are right imo - at this early stage doing anything other than dual-booting vista/xp seems silly. There just isn't the required support for vista atm. MTA Race does not work under Vista. SA-MP does work under Vista in compatibility mode. Link to comment
