MTA is the problem please help

I did a ping test on the [TTH] sever via cmd.exe, a windows program, and it said my ping on the sever was 128....then when I get on the sever it said I had 322 ping please help me find out what is wrong with my MTA.By the way five months ago it was actually 128 on that sever but now it is 322 so it has to be MTA.Maybe I accidentally changed a setting.Any help is appreciated!

Many things can cause a higher ping, do you have a firewall? what's you connection speed? maybe your connection speed is too low for mta

Your computer will be processing the game data as well, so if you have a slow(ish) PC, this will raise your ping as it won't be able to send and receive data as quickly.

Nothing on my computer has changed at all.My connection has always been the same.It is a Cable Modem (2MB).So what could I have done to make my ping higher?Feb. 2006 stopped playing MTA and started playing SA-MP then about 2 months later I started playing MTA again but MY ping got higher when I came back!
