When I try to launch the new MTA 1.6 version, it keeps crashing and the game won't open; even when it does manage to launch, it throws an error.

Not only does it fail to open, but it also prevents the older version—version 23435, which works perfectly on Windows 7—from launching; the new version causes that one to crash as well.
