MTA crashes a lot, randomly.

Question

So I play on NFS:SA and recently I've been experiencing a lot of crashes. Some server textures show the placeholder "Out of memory. Restart MTA", sounds sometimes stop working. I've already changed my gta instalation (download the classic from steam and just downgraded it to run mta. Didn't install any mods, only widescreen fix and the 1.0 crack from the downgrader). I don't know if it's a servr issue or my game is :Oed.
The crash dialog shows this:

Version = 1.6-release-22789.0.000
Time = Thu Nov 28 10:05:52 2024
Module = C:\ProgramData\MTA San Andreas All\1.6\GTA San Andreas\gta_sa.exe
Code = 0xC0000005
Offset = 0x0032F4DE

EAX=00000800  EBX=01BE0610  ECX=00000000  EDX=00000008  ESI=FFFFF800
EDI=14743378  EBP=0177EDC4  ESP=0177EDA8  EIP=0072F4DE  FLG=00010206
CS=0023   DS=002B  SS=002B  ES=002B   FS=0053  GS=002B

I hope someone can help me with this, because crashinmg every 20-30 minutes is very annoying.

Hello @V1ktor , if you're encountering multiple types of errors, it could be due to multiple issues. For example, you might be using modded versions of MTA or GTA. Here’s what you should do:

  • Ensure that your MTA and GTA files are completely clean and mod-free.
  • Make sure your drivers are up-to-date.
  • If the issue only occurs on one specific server, it’s likely related to that server's scripts and mods.
  • Double-check that you've installed MTA and GTA correctly.

If you’re still experiencing issues, you’re probably using a cracked version of GTA, and the only solution would be to purchase an official copy of GTA.

If you've tried all these steps, you may also need to update Windows.

As I wrote in the topic, I downloaded gta from steam, the classic version, the only thing required to do is to downgrade it to 1.0 US for MTA to work. That aside, no mods are instaled.
