Crashing client, no error code given

Alfredo649

Question

Hello there.

I join server, play for few minutes (5 to 10) and client crashes. It seems randomly. I havent figured out the cause. I tried all usual, reinstalling GTA, MTA, using nightly builds, even some from weeks ago. Updating video drivers, windows updates itd. Nothing fixes it sadly. Im asking for other possible solutions.

Also, pasting a pastebin from MTA diagnostic tool

https://pastebin.multitheftauto.com/3392859939

Thanks for help

Can you install your GTA:SA file on the Local Disc (%C) side, I suggest you to install MTA in this way as well

Hi there. Thank you for answering.

From testing it appears this solution has only extended time duration until crash. It happens every 25 to 30 minutes now. And still no error message.

Can there be another reason for it?

Thanks!

Your GTA:SA may be modded, for example, you may be experiencing these problems because it consists of modded files such as .asi

I deleted that GTA and installed fresh from Steam, not modded one. Same thing happens.

Any other solutions?

Thanks a lot!

Hello  Alfredo649

I thought it was that your pc was very weak but it has a 4070 ti and 32GB of ram 💀, try updating your video card drivers, old versions of the drivers can sometimes cause incompatibility, although your DirectX is up to date, the absence of it D3D9 .dll can cause problems, I looked at its diagnostics and certificate installation errors (err:2148081668) could indicate a problem with secure connections. Make sure your system is fully up to date and consider reinstalling any affected software.

If none of these solutions have solved the problem, please tell us all the details of what is happening here.

Hey there!

err:2148081668 gave me an idea about Net framework. So i went online and found a fix using yt video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lzrbvffvvxs

After updating and restarting PC i had to enable it using this yt video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0phXUCWdHE

Ei!

I'm glad your problem was solved ❤️
