Help needed

Can some one help me i have a problem i have no router i have windows xp but i cant connect it just disconnects again and again and my firwall is off i dont know does anyone knows???

Wait, are you saying you set your own server up, and tried to join that?

If your trying to set up your own server, take some notice of this and it might help you if your stuck on this specific problem. There could be a solution here perhaps.
