mta DM maps question

I have read that the code for maps will change but if build a map in the race mod map ediotr now and ONLY include objects not checkpoints,spawn, repair,nitro,change. Will it then be possible just to open my map in wordpad or something copy it and paste it in the DM map file?

No, the format is totally different, but there will be converters so it shouldn't be a problem.

Edit: Will it be a prelease of the converter or the same day as DM.

And with the guns how is it with that? Like we will put out guns and ppl can pick it up to use? How will it be with the bullet a gun will have? Can we change the number of bullets?

Pickups can be placed, yes. Ammo can be defined and weapon type. I would advise you just place an object with a name "Pickup" for now so you can use the co ordinates for the new syntax of weapon pickups.
