Pic0o Posted June 7, 2003 Posted June 7, 2003 This may be another thread, but I am having issues wit my friend and I @ on the same connection joining the same MTA server. He gets no ability to join this server while I am in, and I also do not see the server in ASE. Btw, the Dedicated server is on a remote system on another ISP. Any ideas on why more then one person can't connect would be appreciated
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted June 7, 2003 MTA Team Posted June 7, 2003 since you are behind a LAN and connect to the internet via router, there is only one IP available, thus only one PC can connect. This is the case with a lot of MP games
Pic0o Posted June 8, 2003 Author Posted June 8, 2003 We have one machine on the lan trying to connect directly to the ISP's DCHP server instead of going thru the router. And pretty much every game will let you have multiple people play off the same Lan providing the LAN was somewhat properly designed I'll fix the last machine, and see if the problem still exsists
