Having Problems Starting Game

Okay, every time I click on Start Game after I pick a server, this comes up:

What am I supposed to do here? When I try to do something about it, ie: selecting the GTA3 icon I get this:

What is the solution to this if any,

To play mta:gta3 you need tp patch gta3.exe to v1.1. get the patch here http://www.take2games.com/support/patch ... tch1.1.zip

Thanks, but what exactly will this patch do to my game? Just so I know.

Nothing bad, all it does is fixes some bugs that R* found after it was released.
