Guest
Right, to the point. I installed GTA: VC yesterday and installed MTA straight after. I can join a server and see other players write stuff, but I get disconnected every 10 seconds and MTA reconnects, things that I write is not shown (I get very happy when something is shown...) I have a router, could that be it? If so, what ports should I open? (2003 is opened, didn't help though...) I have ZoneAlarm firewall, disabled it and still didn't make a difference. I have tried reinstalling GTA: VC, MTA etc... No change. I have used MTA before, and everything worked fine. System specs: Intel Pentium 2,8 Ghz processor, 1Mb L2 cache, prescott. MSI 875P NEO-FIS2R. Club 3D Nvidia GeForce 6600GT 128Mb 8xAGP. 767Mb ddr-ram, 400 mhz/PC 3200. Help is appreciated. If more information is needed to solve this I will gladly give you the information, I can also be reached at: [email protected], MSN or email. Link to comment
Jani
You do not need to open ports to play the game. You only need to open ports to host a game. Other than that, you could be timing out because either you or the server have a bad connection/peering, or it could be because you have high packetloss between the server. Link to comment
Guest
I have 8.0Mb broadband, and it's the same on all servers. As I said, I had MTA a few years ago and everything was fine, and I was playing on the same servers as I am now. I went on a server a few minutes ago and well, noone was there but I could type now, that is, what I wrote was shown now. Link to comment
