Guest Posted March 19, 2003 Posted March 19, 2003 just found this mod. heard about a french team doing mp gta3 but im verrry glad to see someone is actually doing one and getting somewhere with it. btw sorry if someone has already posted this. i remember back to the old gta days where my friends and i played multi quite a lot. but when we got bored of deathmatching, we played caryards. it was where each player would choose some secret place in the city and would collect cars. while collecting cars tho, you would try to find your opponents caryard and steal/destroy their cars. it was a ton of fun! with gta2 and gta3 sp, the cars dissapear after a short time. maybe a gametype like this can be made where the objective is to get a collection worth a certain value or something. maybe there can be a way to specify a place for cars by having the player stand where they want to keep their cars, and all cars within a certain radius would be part of the collection? what do ppl think?

Once you steal a car you can drive it into a small open area (so that the opposition can steal those cars =), once its in there its seen as stolen (unless driven back out =) Destroying cars might be a nono (the fact that you want to steal them might be a deterant =) but it depends on the rules
