Guest
As most of the errors found here, I got a server-creating error as follows: When I start MTAClient I click on Create Server, change the server's name to ABD (I don't know why I chose this name...) and when I click Start Server, MTAClient gets closed, and no window named MTAserver opens. When I check the "Processes" on Task Manager, I see that MTAServer.exe is still running... What should I do now? I have ZA, with allow setting both for MTAClient.exe and MTAServer.exe. EDIT: And when I look at mtaserver.log I get: - MTAServer log opened -(21:36:15) Listen server started. (21:36:15) (21:36:15) ServerInit: MTA 0.5 Listen Server©2003©GTA:VC:Deathmatch©8© ERROR: Unable to bind to the socket. Check that no other instances of MTAServer.exe are running and try again. (21:36:15) Could not start admin server. (21:36:15) Tucalipe has joined the server (IP Address: 127.0.0.1) (21:36:15) Join: 0©Tucalipe©127.0.0.1© I've already tried deleting .manifest file, unchecking the "Update welcome message on startup" checkbox. I've tried starting the server by the Comm Prompt, but then, it doesn't appear at the servers' list at the MTAClient. Link to comment
Si|ent
It tells you right there, the port is in use by something else. Just change the admin port or disable the other application that is using it. Link to comment
Guest
Actually, I've resolved the problem. I just had to start MTAserver manually by the console... Link to comment
