Brophy
Use 'localhost' or whatever the LAN IP is to the computer running the server is to connect because you are hosting it on your own network Link to comment
iam2noob4u
i entered the internet ip on purpos, in order to check if i can join through internet. its running now if you want to try joining. do i have to add firewall rules (look tottally on the bottom of the big screenshot), and if so, what do i have to add. this is the first pop-up i get when pressing it: if its showing up on game-monitor, does it work then?[/b] Link to comment
Jani
A lot of routers/modems etc will not let you connect to local servers using your Internet IP, so that's a bad way of testing. The best way to test is to ask other people to do it. Link to comment
