Problem with registering/signing in to the GTA Battlegrounds server

just when i connect to the server it asks to register an account, except the problem is that i cant because for some reason my mouse clicks and keyboard input gets disabled?
this happens only just when i connect to that server

Here's a screenshot. I cant type or click anything, i could only press ESC even then i cant click anything from the menu. all i could do after than is open the command and disconnect from there.

Hello, You must contact the administrators of said server.

-You can try downloading the server again though.

Problem is that in order to join their forums, i need an account which i could only register through the game client/their server, which i cant do.
I've tried re-downloading the server, unfortunately that wasn't it.

update: it seems like its not a problem with that server.
i just tried another server and the same thing happened.
