you can not yet get out of your car. wait for the deathmatch version, and read the blog

and there are a lot (or were) wich are running an RPG script. in GTA VC, so not in SA. you can recognize rpg servers in their name. mostly have rpg in it.

Even though what Leviathan said is correct, some people have experienced a bug where CJ is out of his vehicle and is actually on foot. The team are well aware of this problem however.
