Guest Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Ok I just downloaded MTA 0.5 and loaded up the thing. I dont know how to connect. I put my ip adress in and it brings up an error while trying to connect stating"Disconnected= Connection timed out. (Delay=10sec)" What am I supposed to do to get this to work?
orappa Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 You can only connect to your IP if you are actually running a server on your machine. To use the server browser, click the button marked "Servers".

As with every other (non mmo)multiplayer game out there you enter the ip of the particular server you wish to play in. Alternatively simply refresh the servers in the built-in browser and connect to one of those.
