Guest Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 I have just figured out how to get two ppl in a game over LAN and see each other, but my transfer speed is around 0.8 kb/s?? and i have the 50+ kb/s option selected. How come its so slow, and is there a way i can get it any faster? thx
FiShMaStEr Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 the connection speed has nothing to do with it. thats just how much u can handle in bandwidth. the 0.8k is what is currently transfering. have a look at cs's bandwidth monitor, i got a 300k/s + connection and it only goes at 2.3k/s and everything is smooth on a full server. owner and founder of: http://www.fseportal.com http://www.gtacentral.net Proud member of the board since the begining. Guest Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 It dosen't matter since it is depends number of people in the server. The highier number of people in the server = highirer kb/s just like scale (1:0.8kb/s)(10:8.0kb/s) If server sux, the games will lag for sure.
