Guest
Hi! At home I have a router for accessing the internet. I need to know, which ports I have to open in order to play MTA SA (Client). Does anybody know all of them? Freeza Link to comment
orappa
The default port is 22003, but clients don't need to open ports. If you're having problems connecting, check that a firewall on your system is allowing MTA access to the internet. Link to comment
Jani
Also check your NAT if you have one. If you're sure you've done everything possible to allow traffic on port 22003 and you still can't connect to servers, contact your ISP. It is possible they may be running a "head-end" NAT which you cannot control. Link to comment
Guest
The problem is, that there is a proxy which can only open ports, but no programs. When I´m trying to connect to a server it says "Conneciton timed out". But when I try to connect to a IP where no MTA Server is running on, it says "Connection timed out", too What should the Proxy Admin do? Is there any chance for me to play MTA SA over the internet? Colombo
I have the same problem. Only thing that worked on my firewall (SMC barricade) was to disable the firewall itself. My problem is not in the NAT configuration I guess. Somehow the firewall won't allow MTA.exe (i think) to make a propper connection. Link to comment
Jani
Freeza you need to ask the network administrator to allow connections on port 22003. Bearing in mind that's the default port, people will also use alternatives so it's probably wise to allow connections on port 22003 to 50000 or something. Link to comment
