Guest Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 I started a server and I could use remote admin and everything except that i cant view my server on the Server Browser and Rcon Login. Can anyone help me? What is this Port Fowarding as well? Sorry I don't know so much about computers.
Jani Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Port forwarding (sometimes also referred to as tunneling) is the act of forwarding a network port from one machine to another. One use of this technique can allow an external user to reach a port on a private IP address (inside a LAN) from the outside via a NAT-enabled router. You need to do this if you are behind a gateway which has a built in firewall (for example a router or NAT). The All-Seeing Eye doesn't list local servers anyway, so you'll need to ask someone else if they can check it for you. And loggin into rcon is simple. Simply do rcon_login in console.
