Guest Posted January 30, 2006 Share Posted January 30, 2006 Hello, I finally managed to make my own server and it runs. But i can only join it with my local ip adress. I would like to make it public so other people can join my server. I forwarded my ports on my router and firewall. But still it wont work! Could someone please help me? Jani Posted January 30, 2006 Share Posted January 30, 2006 Can other people join it from outside of your local network? Some routers won't allow you to connect to local servers through your Internet IP address, so you'll need somebody else to test. Also, if you have the corrent ports forwarded on your router and firewall, there's no reason it shouldn't be public unless there is something at your ISP's head end blocking it (such as a NAT).
