Servers appear as unscanned

I know someone made a topic about this already, but whenever I search for servers they all say unscanned. Someone in the other guys topic said to select a map from the drop down list thing, and it worked for him, but not for me. I have tried turning of my firewall, reinstalling gta3 AND mta, among other things. This is also a problem for me in San Andreas mta, so I have to tell people to give the the ip to the server, so I can join. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I'm not sure what the problem would be if it isn't firewall related.

its not good for getting an accurate ping, but its definitely a large enough list to find a good place to play
