Server Problems

When i set the password on the server it doesn't seem to set the password:

# ServerPassword

# Required: Yes (Yes if server should be passworded)

# Purpose: Defines the server password

# Format - ServerPassword

#ServerPassword Password

and also my anti cheat doesnt work

Don't know about the Password one, but turn AutoUpdateAntiCheat off.

ok one of the error's was gone the update definitions one but it still says it cant load anticheat.def

uncomment the password line.

This is normal, the anticheat.def was not created on release of MTA. However, it has been uploaded now and you should no longer get this error

He means that if a line has a hash (#) beside it, the line will be ignore...

so if you have

#ServerPassword mypassword 

it will will do nothing, but by taking out the hash:

ServerPassword mypassword

Was just released, check the blog:

Server admins may have noticed that anti-cheat has not updated for them. This is due to a combination of a change in our webserver config and a somewhat non-standard HTTP request from the server. We will be releasing a patch for this and a few other issues soon, in the meantime you can download the anti-cheat definition file from http://www.mtavc.com/sar1_000.def - the file should be renamed anticheat.def and placed in your mods/race/ folder of your server.
