Guest Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003 When i installed MTA an error window popped up that just said "Some files that windows requires to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions". It didnt tell me which files or how to fix the issue. Is this something i should worry about? I am running win2k.
Robpol86 Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003 i usually get that error when i do sumthin really stupid and xp goes crazy and replaces sum files w/ backups xp has. when it did that, magically i went from windows xp sp1 to windows xp normal.
Guest Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003 Dont worry about that, it just means some files that were installed over some windows files with older files or files that arnt recognized by windows as being native to windows itself, or its some type of driver thats not verified by microsft. Its no biggie
xerox Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 If the files are newer update them, they are 99% of the time better. **************************** Thread Closed
