MTA VC Plain wont load the game itself

Hey, when i press start game, i get the egg timer for about 1 second, then nothing happens! i've tried both version number settings. The game works fine as single player. Help please !

When you post a help request in this section, try to give us as much information about your problem as you can. This includes the following:

Are there any problems with the disc?

the disc is fine, as i say, the game works perfectly when run on its own, ie not attempted to load from inside the MTA client. In reply to jani, there are no error messages, nothing on the screen, no noises, screenshot would show you the mta client..etc

using 1.0. click start game, noting happens. Ctrl-alt-del no gtavc shown. Hankoo
