Invalid Executable............. Why oh god why?

Hello there,

I have a fully legit version of GTA III, I use the disk, there is nothing wrong with my internet connection and still I have no idea why this message keeps appearing.

I have heard that there are problems with the Australian and German MTA's, but I am unable to find an american version.

Is there anyone out there that can fix my problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you need the 1.1 patched american version of the exe. however, this being a non warez server, we are not allowed to supply you with one. however a google earch for "gta3.exe 1.1" may help you.

Wow man, thanks a lot. Works like a charm now. Last time I googled that file I got nothing, but this time it came up first go.

Well I have a few more questions regarding the game;

- If I have the "realGTA" mod installed will it effect MTA?

- Will I be able to use other skins during game play?

- This may seem like a dumb question, but what button do I press to use the chat thing.

yes it will, mods are not allowed.

only in portland and staunton. go into single player, select your skin, then go back into mta.

Try using a weapon to kill people or use cars .

Punching people dosnt work on MTA, however in the past and mainly on stunt servers sometimes people have killed each other by " fists "
