Guest
Hmm, well I have setup a server usng SCT and I'm using MTA:MA Admin script. I have Windows Firewall and I (think) I have forwarded all the neccessary ports (2003,4003,2126) as TCP and UDP. I can connect to my server using the IP Address found by typing "ipconfig" into the command window but no using the one I found on a website. Also my server does not appear in the serverlist. Or at least I cannot see it. Anyone help me? Link to comment
Jani
Do you have any other firewalls or proxies, or any hardware firewalls (router, residential gateway, etc) running? The best way to check is to get someone to try and connect to your server from your EXTERNAL IP not your internal one, and if they can't, you obviously have something else blocking inbound connections. Jani
Yes, that is your IP address. Another site I use to find my IP (which makes it a bit more clear) is http://www.whatismyip.com Link to comment
Guest
Right I have just setup the server on my other PC (The on I'm sharing the internet with). And I can connect to it using Aerons MTA:MA Admin Tool. It does appear in the list but it says unscanned as the name, 9999 as the ping and 0/0 players and I cannot actually connect and play on it... I'm almost there! Link to comment
