Guest Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Why does it say "you are running a modified version of the MTA client. Please reinstall." when I try to join a game. Also I did re-install it a couple of times and still the same error
Gamefreek Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Make sure you do not have any mods installed in the same VC directory, such as different car models, edited handling files/weapon files.

Gamefreek Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 You need to reinstall Vice City in order to play MTA, it requires that you run on a completely unmodded install. So that means no car mods what so ever
