Turning signs for race mode

It would be great to have signs with images of curves in the screen before a turning so it would be easier to know when to turn, like in racing games.. And option to put it off, clientside..

Or a 3D arrow pointing to next checkpoints way.. And to make it easier, it would maybe start blinking right before the turn..

You would normally see the checkpoint from a far distance anyway depending on where you place them on the map.

With the map editor you could physically place signs on the map warning people of sharp bends (I found some the other day).
