Gta 3 1.1 Patch

So i have the problem with the invalid exectable thing upon trying to run gta 3 mta so i downloaded the 1.1 patch but it says it cant find the gta3.exe Someone can you please help me also may i also add that i downloaded gta 3 illegally so that might say something anyways please help I reallly want to play and im like
