i have done everything that it said to do in the known issues section for vice city buty it keeps saying that i an using a trainer. any other tips that can get this to work. it lets me get all the way to connectiing and when i start the game it says im using a trainger and boots me out of the room.

Have you made sure that you have played the game in single player first?

yeah, i played it i think cant remember but im pretty sure. does it matter if i played it before or after downloading the installer (not setting up the MTA program itself) and do i have to save a game when i play it for the first time in single player?

It could not boot you out of the server if you click start game and it says you are using a trainer. Don't spawn as crusader twice, don't have any windows open (or a file at the desktop that has a "trainer, cheat, hack, etc)

hmm... i had such thing when i was playing with cheating death for CS

1) Stop all Your user's processes

2)Delete all mods

3) reinstall the game

4) Shut donw every anti virus or debugger

It is recommended though to play the game before actually installing the mod, I usually just go to the first save point.
