LAN GAME - how to setup one.

I have worked out how to make a server..here it is

run the gta3 launcher.

run configure server

take a note of the port

now work out your I.P address of your network card.

then put in a server name

and click save setting and start server

the run launch server

NOW....

the computer your that you just did that cannot play the game

you then goto another computer and then

run the gta3 launcher and click run MTA

it will then go into the game.

press alt+tab then put in your I.P. address and port and

of course a nickname after this change the upload speed to +50KB.

then click connect to server it then should say connected then the status should change to red

and a D/L thing at the bottom of the status box should appear and then go back into GTA3 and goto start a new game as usuall...but its changed

click start a multi theft auto

the left click to be given a choice of team

DIABLO or MAFIA

then it becomes obvious from here on.....

actually, you can join a game from the same computer hosting a ded. server...

just use the client and connect to your own IP

Also: only choose diablo.

apparently there's bug with being mafia...

or u can type 127.0.0.1 or localhost
