Hello everyone,
I'm having a problem with MTA 1.6 on my friend s PC, and I would appreciate any help.
**System specifications:**
* **OS:** Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 (Build 7601)
* **GPU:** NVIDIA GeForce GT 210
* **GPU driver:** NVIDIA driver 342.1 / package version 21.21.13.4201
* **GTA San Andreas / MTA directory:** `D:\game\MTA\GTA San Andreas`
* **MTA version:** 1.6.0-9.24149.0.000
**The problem:**
When I launch MTA 1.6, the main menu appears for approximately two seconds. I can move the mouse briefly, but then the game freezes and crashes before I can interact with the menu.
GTA San Andreas itself works correctly, and MTA 1.5.9 runs without any problems on the same PC and using the same GTA San Andreas directory.
**Crash information:**
* Exception: `0xC0000005` (Access Violation)
* Module: `Unknown`
* Offset: `0x00000000`
* The crash stack repeatedly references `netc.dll`, followed by `core.dll` and `gta_sa.exe`.
**Troubleshooting already attempted:**
* Running MTA as administrator
* Updating/installing DirectX components
* Installing Visual C++ runtimes
* Checking the GTA San Andreas directory
* Checking for a `d3d9.dll` file in the GTA San Andreas folder (it is not present)
* Running the official MTADiag tool
The diagnostic report indicates that Direct3D initialization succeeds and that MTA detects my GT 210.

Since MTA 1.5.9 works perfectly while MTA 1.6 crashes almost immediately, could this be a compatibility issue with Windows 7 or a problem in the newer MTA client?
Has anyone experienced the same issue, or is there a known workaround or a compatible newer build I could try?
Thank you for your time and help!
