Hey everyone, I've been dealing with this issue for several months now. Ever since a specific update back then, MTA simply refuses to launch. When I try to open it, the cursor shows the loading animation for a few seconds, but then nothing happens. Sometimes I can see MTA running as a background process in Task Manager, but the game never actually opens. Here’s the weird part: Version 1.7 actually launches fine every single time. However, this doesn't help me at all because it's not backward compatible, and there are virtually no 1.7 servers available to play on. Whenever I download the latest 1.6 version, the original issue immediately comes back. What I've already tried: Clean reinstall of MTA (tried multiple different version installers) Clean reinstall of GPU drivers Full Windows reinstall Running in Compatibility Mode / as Administrator Looked for "Virtual Desktop Streamer" (some people said uninstalling it fixed it for them, but I don't even have it installed) A few times after a fresh reinstall, 1.6 would magically launch once, but on the second attempt, it goes back to being dead. I know the devs probably don't care at this point, but I'm posting this as the 20th person with this exact issue in hopes that someone finally found a working workaround or fix. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
