The installer doesn't let me run itself (displays that "error" message with no option to proceed anyway) Extended kernel is being actively updated and maintained by its creator, and it's actually quite stable.

well afaik the newer versions arent supported because they cant run the new CEF, but my vista runs new chromium (72.0.3626.121) that contains new CEF perfectly fine, so what's the reason to not let me install it?

so you encourage artificial incompatibility huh

I'm pretty certain mine can handle the new CEF as it runs Chromium 72.0.3626.121
