Alright, new problem I'm having. My start game button stopped working. I click on it over and over. Nothing. I reinstalled MTA 3 times. Nothing. I reinstalled GTA 2 times. Nothing. Any solutions?

So, if I get my computer off of the proxy, that would help a lot of the problems? And also, would a network firewall be causing any of this? I might be able to get my computer off of the proxy, but it might take a lot of parental convincing (3.95 GPA should be good enough ).

Yeah, I timeout almost every time I crash (which is a lot). I was gonna ask about that too... Anyway, I'm on the best server I can find (goons). I am connected through a proxy and I know that makes my ping and lag all over the chart, but would that also have anything to do with this?

Alright, this problem is really starting to push my anger to a new level. About 1/4th of the time I am playing MTA, the text I put in the chat box simply doesnt show. I send it over and over (15 times, sometimes more) and it NEVER shows. Then, I try typing something small such as 'damnit' and it shows instantly. I return to trying to say what I wanted to say before, and nothing. If there isn't a fix for this, just say so. I would like to at least know if anyone is experiencing this. BTW, a lot of times when this happens I get the Client CRC check timeout error. The fix for this didn't work for me at all. I got it more in 0.3 than I did 0.3r2

Yeah I know... I've been trying to get it all figured out. Also, my lag problem is one of the main aspects of my 'no teaming' decision. Anyway, I'm ok if you're just joking around with me. But If you start becoming a sexist ass that wont stop harrassing me thats when I might just get a tad pissed. -------------------------------------------- Back to the original topic, I really didn't expect anyone to have this same problem. This is only happening in MTA.

Alright, this has happened to me 3 times already today. It's happened to me several times before, so I finally decided to ask about it. Basically what happens is my keyboard stops working in game. I alt-tab out, and discover that my client stopped recording messages a very long time ago. I mean, the most current message shown is probably 10 minutes old. Once I get GTA closed, I try clicking start game. Then, I get an error saying the CRC check found that my mta.scm file had been edited and told me to reinstall. If I open up a new client I can start the game again, but losing my kills gets annoying. (I've lost over 50 kills several times because of this). Is anyone else having this problem?

I've seen it more in the current one than the older ones. The most common one is the first hooker at the pole position, but I've seen the lance skin too.
