Looks good. Thanks

Resolution: 1920x1080
Yep, but I do all my testing on 640x480, which is our minimum supported resolution by MTA. if it looks good on there, then I'm happy with it.
-
Some other notes
- Hungarian mainmenu images need redoing. I tried fixing them but they lost a lot of quality as a result of been downscaled. It would be helpful to remake these.
.
Remaked.
Before: http://rozsdi.weboldala.net/MTA/e.png
After: http://rozsdi.weboldala.net/MTA/u.png
So good? And 1-2 translate fix added.
Max and Rozsdi
That looks better. Before it simply was too small at lower resolutions

Hey guys, as some of you may have noticed, the latest nightly is available for download here: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/mtasa-1.4-full ... 130529.exe . It includes the following languages: Arabic, Portuguese Brazillian, Simplified Chinese, Czech, Dutch, English(!), Estonian, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian and Spanish.
Arabic is very much in beta and at this time it works extremely poorly as a result of badly designed GUI, but is available for testing nevertheless. Even so, I request a member of the Arabic translation team with some programming experience to look over the translation as there are several errors which make it impossible to ship with final release. These can be filtered in our translate website by filtering for "Checks" and selecting Critical errors. We could really do with someone who has development experience with an Arabic background to assist us with localizing the GUI. It's a fairly big task for which I know little about, but if I don't get time and nobody can help, Arabic may have to be pushed back for MTA 1.4.1.
Some other notes
- Dutch has not been included yet because I'm missing several main menu images
- As with Dutch, Turkish is missing all main menu items. Please submit some localized images
- I noticed for Slovak, the main menu has the same strings as in English. Is this intentional?
- Hungarian mainmenu images need redoing. I tried fixing them but they lost a lot of quality as a result of been downscaled. It would be helpful to remake these.
I've added Georgian upon request. As for Tunisian, things are alittle more complicated. As much as I would like to cater for this community, it seems our toolchains dont have built-in support for Tunisian. It might be possible to do this eventually, but it's not a priority yet. We'll try and get Arabic finished first.

I was doing some upgrades to the translate server last night for the next commit and forgot to switch it back on (doh), I'll ensure it's up shortly!
Sorry!
As for the beta test, there will be no 'beta test' as such. There will simply be periodic nightlies that include completed languages. I'll post them here when that happens.
Also, I'd like to thank everyone for their overwhelming support thus far! We've made excellent progress in a matter of days, and the reason why there hasn't been a build for all of the completed languages already is because I'm playing a little bit of catchup!
edit: It's up

Hello, I am translating Serbian and I have a small problem with Main menu. The problem is that photoshop template has a red frame around it called "Ghosting fix". While the .png image that needs to be translated doesnt, so the problem is that I am not sure if the red frame should or shouldnt be removed.
Don't worry about it too much. The red frame just means you should leave 1px around the edges free, but it's supposed to be hidden when you export to png.

Great news.
It's possible next time enable the state down for onClientGUIClick?
Or make new event example onClientGUIClickLeave
onClientGUIClick-button-start function
onClientGUIClickLeave-button-stop function
Maybe this is really usefull for many functions.
Example I have the problem for make the button CUE in my Dj console
State down playSound
State up stopSound
Or
onClientGUIClick playSound
onClientGUIClickLeave stopSound
should be able to use onClientGUIMouseDown/Up

What do you mean and what for?
-
You could probably write a module to achieve this
-
I'll look into it
-
This seems like a good idea

Now that's some dedication and motivation!
Talking about my desires – MTA could really use a webkit based GUI engine. It would open a lot of new doors in terms of functionality and creativity. CEGUI is old & robust, not much of a freedom and coding windows is a pain in the ass if you compare it with HTML markup.
A slideshow from 2011 on the topic that points out the pros and cons:
http://twvideo01.ubm-us.net/o1/vault/gd ... New_UI.pdf
All the cool kids on the block are doing their game/app interfaces in web-standards already.
http://awesomium.com – A pretty neat Webkit bridge that should be fairly easy to integrate in comparison to many other solutions around. Just have a look at the wiki.
http://berkelium.org - an open source one.
We have looked at this avenue several times in the past, and something we've actually suggested as a solution many times before. It's not being ruled out, and indeed I'd like to see this being implemented.
However, the trade-off with awesomium/berkelium is how slow they are. While it's fine for forms or more typical GUI usage, it is mostly incompatible with the high-speed onClientRender activities that scripts typically do with CEGUI and DX.

I believe we use this

It should work, but may require a No-CD. I haven't come across any version of GTASA for PC that can't be made compatible. If you send me your .exe (privately) I should be able to investigate.
Cheers

I have a feeling this is based upon what domain you use. I use http://www.mtasa.com, and have never had any problems. If you use that over mtavc.com or multitheftauto.com, it should work, i think. Over the years I have been a regular user of Chrome, IE9, Firefox and Opera and have never encountered this problem.

To correct Ransom: no, I didn't exactly forget about this request. If i'm honest, I was ready to go ahead with this 4months ago - but after I posted the announcement I got very little feedback. I was surprised that after 3 pages of requests, after finally clearing it with the team, that was next to no reception. It was unclear if the demand was still remaining. There seemed to be a surge in interest to start with, but then faded out. If there is still a strong interest, i'm happy to add it.
Other than that, I can only apologize for this not being added. If you still think this is going to be strong section that's not going to turn into a ghost town, then I can promise you a short lead time. But in return I would like to see a resurgence in the kind of energy that was in this topic that fizzled out when i had announced it.

Uhm makes a good point. Try starting the 'defaultstats' resource.
-
It's the right mouse button, not the left.
-
Well, here's my thinking.
If you use the "Enable Swap Modes" function, it'll mean that your left analog stick axes and right analog stick axes are switched. That means it potentially can be recognised by MTA.
-
Could you try experimenting with the following settings:
http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app ... 5/cl/us,en
I believe you have "Swap D-pad and Left Mini-Joystick" enabled. Try disabling that. If that doesnt help, enabling "Enable Swap Mode" with all combinations of the D-pad swap.
-
Just disable the anticheat when you run your server.
-
If this was ever implemented, it would be in the form of Awesomium - embedding of the web into the game rather than just video.

I've had to lock down the website because there's been evidence of abuse. I hoped this kind of thing would not happen but it seems bogus strings are being submitted.
Users will only be able to suggest translations whilst we review the situation. It was foolish to assume people would be interested only to help development.
Tisasa: I'll fix this issue for the next build.
