  2. installed all 3 drivers, still stopped responding after a while. here's the diag i did after the installs http://pastebin.com/5XUR4L65
  3. i ran the diag and updated my directx but it still stopped responding mid-game, here's the pastebin url http://pastebin.com/hZSh1K1E
  4. i've had a strange problem lately, my hard drive has been filling up even though i havent put anything on my computer. i've noticed that there's a download bar at the start of each game and i was wondering if this might account for the shrinking disk space. the second problem is that lately mta has stopped responding a lot more lately. sometimes when this happens i'll have a notice of low disk space. wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if whatever is being downloaded at the start of the game is stored on the hard drive.

    decent gamepad?

i started playing recently with a $5 usb gamepad that looks like a playstation controller. can anyone recommend any brand name usb gamepads for a reasonable price? particularly in regard to analogue sensitivity, a lot of my problem is the finer aiming motions being nearly impossible.

    internet speed?

according to speedtest.net i have a download speed of 2.9mbps and an upload speed of 0.68mbps. i have everything in the recommended system requirements also, but i still experience a lot of lag, even in games with less than 100 ping. any possible reasons for this?
