  1. Such solution will extend and make easier the life of the mode, which is favourite for many people in MTA. There are no any analogue of DD in any other game except MTA, and I guess that it never been. Think about this.

    @ Administrators: Guys, imagine the situation when a newbie is visiting this forum. He will never know that MTA has so many different and nice gamemodes.

    May be he could find here a DD information (just example, choose any other mode) and become a constant player. But its really not easy to find any useful information there or just to get to know about MTA modes.

    Nowadays, the only thing a newbie can find is a lot of boring YT-movies in Maps-showroom. He will see these [DM]-movies (even if he find them) and will think that its MTA, nothing more. He wont see this great DD mode, great Race-maps mode, great Shooting or RPG or any other stuff of MTA.

    And.. Many players (like me, a lot of them) are not interested in other gamemodes absolutely. They want information only about the gamemode they play. And they have no a main international place for contacts, talks, introductions of the ideas, news, etc.

    I suggest to create new sections on this forum.

    For example - look at DD (gamemode of Race mode).

    The DD community has no common site. Players of this mode are desintegrated among several communities, sites and servers.

    Would be really great if the administators create special section - "Destruction Derby" and some special sub-sections in it:

    - Clans (Clans introduce themselves, give sites, contacts and other information)

    - Events (DD Leagues, Championships, Special Events - creators or clans can make an advertisement about their Events for other clans or players, so more people will know)

    - DD Discussions (Ideas, players, dd-mapping, dd videos, dd pictures)

    - Servers (About DD-only servers)

    I know that these sub-sections can duplicate the existing sections of this forum, but say to me truthly, are the existing such sub-sections popular, do someone look them? No, because there are "all-in" - all gamemodes, the sections are too far from each other and its really difficult and stupidly to search something there about specific interest (e.g. DD in this case).

    If this forum section be popular, may be would be better to make more needed sub-sections.

    DD community is very crushed as I said, so I guess that the only main place for the meeting (the future DD section) will be the best way to be in contact for all DD players, and it will inform each DD player about latest news in this mode.

    This mode is not small "by population" - there are about 12 or more very popular servers, clanwar-servers; ~20 more active clans, ~350 or more active DD-Only players.

    If you like this idea, may be it would be nice to make similiar [DM], [Race], Shooting and other specific gamemode sections. I am sure that such measures will make this forum much more popular and really useful.

    I am sure that a lot of other DD players will support this idea.

    Little description

    Points:

    Winner = total players / 2

    2nd place = tp / 3 (if more 3 players on server)

    3rd place = tp / 4 (if more 4 players on server)

    Points will be rounded (example 10.355 points will be 10 points. 10.7 = 11 points)

    I guess it should be counted only with 2 (may be 3?) and more players online.

    Rank is just the Place in Points TopList. So the person who earned more points than others, will have 1st Rank.

    Ratio = (Wins / Matches) * 100%

    WinStreak is Player's maximum wins in a row.

    So "WinStreak: 10 (average 15 players)" means that Player's record is 10 wins in a row while there were ~15 online players on server.

    But there is also some problem. What is better "10 (~15)" or 7 (~20)"? So, I think that it could be better to create groups (like in Ratio groups) and the minimum Strikes which allow you to be moved to the Upper " WinStreak group".

    Ratio Groups:

    1). 2-6 players online

    2). 7-11

    3). 12-16

    4). 17-21

    5). 22-26

    I am not sure about amount of groups. Possibly it would be better to make less groups.

    Activity Factors:

    FD - Average distance driven per map (kilometers)

    FH - Average HP spent per map (1.0 = 1 HP. So it could be for example 1.55, 3.40 or 2.60. I guess its good factor showing if the player is camper)

    And about DD Collisions script (u can see this Kills and Deathes scoreboard-columns at GMC Hard, WayDC and some other DD servers), which is amount of Kills/Deathes in the Scoreboard. Anyway, DD Collision stats should be added in the Main Stats too.

    For example:

    1. Kills/Deathes basic Ratio (working since 100 kills)

    2. Average Kills per 10 maps

    3. Top Kills per Map

    4. idk, you invent more interesting parameters

  4. TP - Team Play (Special tacticts for teams at DD Clanwars)

    1. NO RISK

    2. HELP!

    3. CAMP!

    • TP is just no risking, and if you can you should help your mates (without big risk for yourself)

    • If possible you should surround opponents (and look on your back!)

    • TP is usual insurance to each other

    • Block the Repair together

    • Never die stupidly, you are crossing up your Team

    • Dont gather all together in one place

    • Remember, you dont need special skills for having good TP, just use your brain

    • DD Match is not a stupid bumping! You should play carefully, look on opponent's mistakes, be unpredictable, look on the whole map, the situation, and choose your tactics

    • If you are doing something what is not bringing a result - you should stop it and start to search another position (way, opportunity)

    • Radar is very useful instrument for understanding if the opponents are close to you, or for fast looking at situation on the map. Also continuously rotate the mouse to see the situation around

    • If you are moving towards each other, you both must pass on the right side

    • It makes sense only the rapid killing. If your plan is for more than 5 seconds, then it makes no sense, go away!

    • Very often we have the situation when the team relaxed if we are in the majority, and eventually lose. Be careful and cautious

    • Analyse the situation and act wisely

    • Dont miss an opportunity to kill the opponent by HP

    • Dont stay long time in the one place trying to kill someone

    • Kind of tactics - fast attack (safe for youself!), then immediately leaving (to the safe place), and then again repeat

    • Dont forget to repair when you have 40%

    I wrote it long time ago for the GMC or 4F teams. May be it will be useful for someone.
