Don't rush them. It'll be out when it's ready.

There's multiple modes to choose from. All the way from plain DM (as has been shown) to the special modes, like Capture the Whoopie. Anything is really possible.

I was never offended by the reply. I simply asked a question as to why it was said like that, and I got a great answer back, BY A TEAM MEMBER. I thanked him and told him that it was clear as to what the intention was. At no point did I say I was offended by it, I was just basically pushing for clarification. My reply to the interview was not meant to be a flame towards MTA, as I had said. Cray took it in the correct form that my post was meant, and he replied as so. Other people decided to put words into my mouth, kind of like what you're doing. I'm not here to argue, I'm here to comment on things and post when I feel I should. Whether or not you were offended is irrelevant... you are a beta tester of SA-MP and asked for clarification in their defense. That's fine, though. My post was directed more towards him selfe who has been trolling in some of the threads on this board lately. Actually, my post was in no way connected to SA-MP. It was a general statement meant to clarify the interview. Plain and simple. Just because I'm a beta tester for SA-MP doesn't mean all of my posts are influenced by it...

You make an extremely valid point, and I for one didn't even put it together that we were saying something that would shine a negative light on what we think of other mods. I don't want to try and justify the response, since it has already been said, but please understand that it was supposed to sound more like a push to see different TYPES of mods, rather than producing the same results that we are openly targetting. I think with a variety of game modes that each of the mods could target, we could all co-exist together and have a huge fan base individually. Instead, we often (but not always!), have been seeing the same attempts by other teams, over and over again. Thanks for the clarification on that. The way it was put into the interview, it seemed as if you guys meant it the other way around The reason I made the point was because of what it would be interpreted as if not clarified (as it is now).

I like the answers that were given here. Tells us about what's been going on and what some future plans are. However, one reply that bugged me was I'm sorry, but I just don't think that one thing is enough. I like the choice to choose between mods for differences in features and gameplay. What you're trying to say, is that Microsoft should go, "Oh, there's allready a gaming console out, lets just stop making ours." Or for Google, "Oh, MSN search is allready being created and developed upon, why don't we just stop." By that logic, there should be one company to do certain things, and there should be no one to compete with. While I don't view MTASA and other mods as competition against each other, I'm guessing you catch my drift as to why I don't like that response. Just in my opinion, it sounds slightly arrogant. By no means do I mean to start a flame war or a conflict from this, I just thought I'd give my opinion on the interview. For all the other questions, I thought they were answered with much thought and information that users would like to hear. Overall, it's a great interview, but I don't like how that last reply makes you guys sound...

Since Augest 2005, I've posted 3 times. Once in someone's thread who asked for help, and 2 in the SA-MP thread. I hardly call that "advertising."

I thought this section was for OTHER MODS and what's going on with them. But obviously this whole entire forum has to be based around MTA Seriously, the point of the topics in the OTHER MODS (again, not MTA but OTHER MODS) is to update people on the progress and news of other mods being created or that have been released... SA-MP has allready proven a release with VC-MP, so it's topic deserves to be here.

Posty, do you only come here to advertise? Is there a problem with posting news in the thread that's dedicated to this mod's news? I never knew that it was against the rules to post about news in the mod's thread No, I don't come here to advertise. I post when I feel like it, and that's that. I just don't post very often at all. When I notice there's news that hasn't been posted in the threads, I'll post it. It's that simple Jon, I don't understand where you're getting at. I never knew it was against the rules to post news though, so I'll stop posting updates.

Well buddy, there's more than one type of mod There's texture editing, scm coding, direct x modding, creating actual programs (such as MTA), modeling, and more. You need to be a bit more specific if you wish to get help
