okay what if i taken out WHERE username? I find it still does the same problem but when I run the sql itself in a mysql database I get a result

Hi guys am working on a function for a server which uses mysql, Am constructing a script to manage the database. I came across an issue when am going to query the database for users who have admin level of >=6 its meant to display the GUI to the user and if they don't its meant to trigger a client function informing the user. However it isn't seem to be working. Can you prove it was only 1 server running at the time? it was more than that lol and minor lag? what lag and we were testing by trying how many zombies, peds etc can be used before it starts lagging. I have also posted the specs of the server, and ofc it can handle their server its MTA lol not as if its MC.

lowest i slots am willing to go is 75 and i only deal with paypal. PS whatever gamemode you want to host is down to you, I have no problem with what gamemode you want.

Hi guys, I have setup a mta server for a client they asked for mysql I set it up for them however the console informs me it is unable to find mta_mysql.dll. I have created the folder modules and ive added the required dll but for some reason it cannot locate the file. For arguments sake and peace of mind I tested it on my home computer and it doesn't have this complain. I have ensured ive got the libmysql.ddl but still no joy. Any idea's? Thanks

I have to agree with Anderl as you really should state what methods the user would have to manage their server should they take up your services? FTP access Control Panel these are some of the main things they would require, also is your server hosted from your house or other? specs of the server would be helpful for ppl to decide. Also why would a host provider provide scripts etc? Forgive me if am wrong but wouldn't the person who would take up your services provide their own?

Linux virus don't exist so that isn't negative. It means these servers cannot be hacked. really? who said they don't exist? it isn't the fact they don't its the fact MS is the world wide used OS for this reason viruses are made to attack MS systems, Linux and MACS are not as widely used as MS however they are more secure but doesn't mean they cannot be penetrated. If someone can break into US MOD Pentagon and NASA what is our computers to such a person? Viruses can be used for this very purpose, it doesn't matter what OS your using if they want to build a virus etc. to break into our systems they'll do so.

I used to rent from them in the past I too had trouble, the control panel would not stop my server and wasn't dealt with for the entire month I was with them. But other than that I cannot think of any other issue relating to their services whatsoever.

Hey Ive noticed you have posted twice of the same topic, I will give you 128 slots, FTP, control panel, support, unlimited bandwidth, no limit storage (for ur game server(s) only), 1000Mb/s networking speed. This for just $8.96 per month You wouldn't find cheaper anywhere else you're crazy, i not trust you or this host will have problems or much lags, a very small price for such services What cos its cheap?? 1 of my current clients as posted his views on the forum he is renting an MC server from me and he doesn't complain about lag. The fact of the matter is I do not want to over profit from renting MTA servers out plan and simple since you have never rented from me your not in a position to make such a comment "much lags". I think you are forgetting that alot of hosts are on an oversized VPS, using a shared 100Mbit line, rather than a dedicated line + machine. I agree however am not using a VPS as its not a good idea for game servers perhaps the odd 1 or 2 but not many. I have currently 1 client who was hosting M\C off a VPS he is very happy with my services so far. If anything goes wrong the problem is dealt with ASAP, in the past I used to host my MTA from various hosters and //i have to say I was forever getting mad cos of their services. Blaming on scripts was a common excuse the funny thing was they looked stupid cos my home computer could perform better. ServerFFS doesn't even have support of any kind and when I was with Deluxe I found after short while my control panel wouldn't stop/restart my server, thankfully I could stop using the shutdown command in game. Waiting hours if not days for someone from support wasn't worth the wait besides time is money.

Am kind of curious why ive not got many customers though, its cheapest than any ive come across so far Website looks unprofessional, I suggest polishing it. Also, putting 20 servers (Each with ATLEAST 128 slots) on a 2.4 Ghz celerion dual core I already feel sorry for that machine. I remember we used to host SAUR on a 2.3 Ghz AMD dual core, Just 1 server, and with 100 players ingame, it was already struggling a bit with CPU usage of 30%..... Imagen 20 servers with 128 players+ .... total lag fest. Also, 4 GB of ram (Lets say 8 GB ram) 8 GB / 20 = 400 MB ram. 400 MB ram is not much for a server with 128+ players. Servers are probably still good and fast now with only 4 servers, but when 20 servers go on that machine... It will turn into a giant lag fest I will sort out the issues if they ever arise and I can reduce the limit of max servers again its not just for example MAX servers its also how many slots each of them have. Unprofessional?

No worries the server spec as follows CPU:-Intel CEleron® G530 2.40GHz *2 RAM: DDR3 4GB (can be upgraded if needed) Master HHD:111GB another drive can be added if required. The system will only allow 20 servers max depending on how many slots each 1 has. If I ever manage to get that amount of servers I would get another dedi and add it to the ordering system, this would only take me 10 mins and 3 hours of updating the new added dedi. There is currently 4 MTA servers running on it. CPU usage avg 25% and ram usage is approx 2.03GB used out of 4GB again this can be upgraded to a good 8GB if this wouldn't be enough in the future like I said new dedi would be used for future MTA servers. Hope this helps PS am not 15, am a mature student in Computer Systems.
