Thanks guys! The download worked fine, BUT, i still got a major problem. So it installed fine, i had patched to 1.0 and i installed it in the GTA:SA directory, but when i try to start it, i get the loading screen for a brief moment (The one that tells me to stop playing with myself) and then, nothing happens, the loading screen dissapears and not a damn thing happens, i check Ctrl Alt Delete and sure enough, there is the Multi Theft Auto process running, but nothing comes up. Did i do something wrong in the installation or do i need to start GTA:SA first?

So I'm kinda new to this whole multiplayer gta thing, and I'm a little unsure about how to get started, but, first things first. So yeah, I click the download button on the main page but it brings me to the kinda window you get when you're trying to access a website without an internet connection, "Page could not be found" blablabla, I'm using Windows XP and my browser is Opera. I don't know if it's just temporary or something but yeah. Oh and also, before trying to setup MTA, i noticed on the forums there seem to be several versions of it, and i was wondering if 1.x is the place to be, if that's what everyone is using? Oh and is it required to patch to 1.00 or whatnot? And i was kinda lost when i read about maps and custom stuff, is it like samp where people host their own servers with customized maps and code or what? So yeah, feel free to bring me up to speed!
