  1. Hmm I see, thanks for ur reply. Need to learn how to handle it by map files
  2. Thanks for ur suggestion eAi, but I dont know yet how to manage elements between map files and script files, how to call them and such. But should I ? It improves game smooth or what kind?
  3. ye omg was that thanks very much^^
  4. yo guys I am still learning how to handle things, but well I am in a good way I think just dont know how to make this working: http://pastebin.com/m426e65f4 Multiple markers at same function I cant do it. What should I change ? Thanks !
  5. yo guys it doesn't worth opening a new topic to ask this, but I have a problem. its really easy functions, but I dont know how to do outputChatbox stop. it sends continues text for player. look: saida2 = createMarker ( 3315.3486328125, -1600.228515625, 2.7354502677917, cylinder, 4, 255, 255, 102, 150 ) saida1 = createMarker ( 3314.7998046875, -1562.4345703125, 2.8354544639587, cylinder, 4, 255, 255, 102, 150 ) function saida2 ( hitPlayer, matchingDimension ) outputChatBox ( "#00FF00 Baggage sai a esquerda", 255 ,255 ,255, true ) outputChatBox ( "#00FF00 DFT-30 continua em frente", 255 ,255 ,255, true ) end addEventHandler("onMarkerHit", getRootElement (), saida2) function saida1 ( hitPlayer, matchingDimension ) outputChatBox ( "#00FF00 Baggage sai a direita", 255, 255, 255, true ) outputChatBox ( "#00FF00 DFT-30 continua em frente", 255, 255, 255, true ) end addEventHandler ("onMarkerHit", getRootElement (), saida1) When I am at marker, it sends continues text. It doesnt stop.. How can I stop it ? cancelEvent function ? oO And btw how can I improve that code, how can I join all in one function ? Thanks.
  6. Hey, I tested this but there are some kind of bugs. Example: glued a car on DFT-30, then press X to deglued and all got bugged. Car got to another place that wasn't inicial place. What Can I do ? Thanks.
  7. Yo guys ! I am using map editor 1.0 from nightly builds, already add race definition . But on map settings, on gamemode settings tab it says "no settings definitions". Well I did like to put spawnpoints and some changecar pickups. How can I do that now ? Thanks in advance to everyone that try to help me
  8. Oh yes, my bad.. Its almost equal to assault mode I was about to make my own, but when I notice the assault.lua, I got and then I give up Well thanks for ur help sloth
  9. Hi there ;D Decided to move here, trying to join or even create a group of players fans of race mod. I play the mod a long time ago and always liked the maps of all against all, where the last to be standing wins. Like wankenstein and that So I am here looking for people trying to make a little server at 1.0 just with that kind of modes, because for me its a lot more fun than "capture the flag" or an "team deathmatch" . I have some maps of my own, and I am looking forward to make more.. like : teamwork maps, dd maps, fun maps where u need skills, and ofc the big stunt maps. If anyone wanna join me, or if someone is already doing this please invite me to ur group DarkLink Much Love ;D MTA Race v1.1.1 Big Fan !
  10. well thanks then 50p, I think I will do the markers just my scripting. So I can learn more Will start doing something, thanks
  11. well if you want to host ur server at DP2.3 Version here u have: http://development.mtasa.com/index.php? ... ver_Manual But u can also host it at NightlyBuilds, here u have a tutorial: http://code.google.com/p/multitheftauto ... htlyBuilds Hope u get it :b edit: fck already someone helped xP
  12. Ohhh faack ! Gimme a break, you know my english sucks I mean people that would try to help me and MTA QA like the "heads" of MTA :b Hmn, So I cant see any player at radar just from start ? Thats what I want And about the marker, I notice that I can put markers on map just by using editor. Then, why using this - createMarker ? Cant I just use - onMarkerHit or onPlayerHitMarker ? The rest of things I think I can handle, just need some time And now let me thank 50p who has helped me throughout all my journey at MTA. ( What do u say 50p, hmn hmn ? its a well constructed sentence. Well btw used tradutor at this sentence^^) Thanks !
  13. Hello guys ;D I walked for a few servers, and I found interesting the idea to start doing my stuff. However, my knowledge in programming is limited. After that I thought that I could learn a little about Lua Scripting, I learned the introductory topics from here http://lua-users.org/wiki/TutorialDirectory. Then I came to MTA Scripting, and I could better understand the functions and the rest of things. Still, I could not know which function should I start.. Well.. I do not want you to do things for me, I just wanted you to give some hints from where to start. What I wanted to do was something like this: 1º Make two different teams with their spawn points. 2º Not be able to see the players on the radar, and there isn't respawn 3º Make two different goals: 3.1 Goal for Team 1 : Kill all from opposite team, then team 1 wins. 3.2 Goal for Team 2: Some of the team reach a particular point, and team 2 wins. First I wanted to know if this is possible, then with which should I start.. I mean functions. I now want to thank the MTA Team that has developed a mod with so many possibilities, and also to everyone that try to help.
  14. wow You found it ^^ Are u sure that u didn't use any cheat ? Whats that at console ? :b Well if its there, then the story about the hoster cant see is own server is true :b Thanks guys ;D
  15. Well.. you are in fact right, but look server appear at game-monitor because I add it there. So people could simple join server just by game-monitor, not from browser list. And that thingy about I cant see my own server, I heard it some time ago.. But dont know if it persists till now. Need some tester then, to see if its there at browser list. The server name is same, its online since yesterday. Thanks for ur reply, lets hope this get resolve.
  16. Anyone ? People still try to connect, it should be by game-monitor. But server doesn't appear on MTA's Browser List Thanks .
  17. hmnn thanks for ur reply. the server was open all night, and when I came here I notice at console that someone tryed to enter the server, but got bad version. well and I know that no one know my ip to quick connect it, so I suppose that that guy found my server at browser list But I keep can't find it on browser even having server open all night This sucks, what can I do ? Is something wrong for sure.. Thanks EDIT: Look the console my tonight EDIT2: Look This, Server Appear now at Game-Guard ( I register there and add my server ) But beside all this I cant see my server at mta browser list, this s*cks
  18. Hi there people Well, after some time I think in come back to MTA Mounted my server at Nightly Builds, and well.. Its everything okay, people can join from Quick Connect, good ping, portforwarding.com says that ports are opened (22003, 22005 and 22126). But I don't see my server on Browser List I am the hoster, using router thomson tg787. And ofc firewall is dead, shutdown everything even router firewall I kill But can't find my server on browser list, just at the shity lan list^^ Well thanks in advance, and sorry if I am being stupid at some part :b Waiting reply EDIT: mtaserver.cfg <config> <!-- This parameter specifies the name the server will be visible as in the ingame server browser and on Game-Monitor. 20. I don't know if this is the best place to write this, but I have a problem. I have some maps from mta race version, DD maps (there aren't respawn, and if you drown or your car is destroyed you lose; the winner is the last one alive) The problem is, I changed to mta dm version (dp2.3) because I had some problems with mta race. Then I converted the maps to dm syntax it an online converter create the meta.xml and zipped all in one file, and put it on resources of server. The problem is what gamemode do I write it on that meta.xml map ? race ? I need to put something to appear on votemode. Someone try to help me out ? Thanks,

  22. Hmmm ok! I am a bit noob, but i think i got it ^^ You said me to use this: -- we register greetPlayer as a handler for the event function greetPlayer ( ) -- we store the player's name local joinedPlayerName = getClientName ( source ) -- and send him a greeting outputChatBox ( "Welcome " .. joinedPlayerName .. " to the server!" , source, 255, 255, 255 ) end addEventHandler ( "onPlayerJoin", getRootElement(), greetPlayer ) And in source "local joinedPlayerName = getClientName ( source )" i should use the param to check if the account exists or not..right? I think is that...you meant.. Or not..? Thank you again for all 50p!
  23. OMG! This is Unbelievable... I try the local account = getClientAccount( source ) you said.. Then try local account = getAccountClient( source )... And i get the same error like : Warning: registar.lua: Bad Argument @ ' getClientAccount 1 - line: 3 LOOL...i cant get it..
