This is so awesome... It would be awesome to map with you one time
-
That will work, and if you want all the items, just open the .map file in any text editor, and all the objects will be there (if thats what you mean)

MTA gets installed installed to a seperate folder than the gtasa folder

I think you're MTA is corrupt. Try reinstalling

mcB replied to Peacekeeper's question in Client
I know you can add AI to stand guard and not move you know? I'm not really sure if you can make them shoot trespassers -

I am creating a Party Server which will consist everything you can think of. - TDM - DM - Freeroam - Mapping(To make movies with you're friends) -Housing/Vehicles(To buy you're own stuff) - CNR(For people who like Cops and Robbers) - RP(For anyone who feels like a little Roleplay Action - V.I.P Access, which gives you more features I am still developing the server. It will have AWESOME features, whatever you're mind can think of. If anyone would like to help me out, I still need administrators. If anyone wants to join my community, such as developers, mappers, administrators, mappers. Let me know because I can use some help. Helpers get instant V.I.P. Especially anyone who helps me develop it. The server runs from my house for now, until scripts, mapping, and everything is complete. I dont really have any screenshots of the server but I will tell you it will be awesome. I just need the right people to help me out to make it a success. If you are interested in joining my community, just shoot me a PM, and we can talk. spydersgaming.createaforum.com

I wish I knew how to model . I used to have Autodesk Maya and make little buildings. I am going to start up sketchup and see if I can still make anything
-
You should edit the server.config and try running it with the default scripts. \MTA San Andreas\server\mods\deathmatch you will see a lot of different files including the server configuration file. Go to start>run>cmd>type ipconfig and use the IP address and put it into you're server conf file.
-
Did you use the IP address that you used in run>cmd>ipconfig? If you didn't, then you use that ip in you're server config, and then use whatmyip.org and connect with that ip. I hope that made sense

Its easy, what you have to do is click on "File Manager" in the server. Then find you're resource directory and click on "Upload file"

I would like to make my own roleplay server help please
mcB replied to grimzreaperrr's question in Server
You should really check this out viewtopic.php?f=91&t=31891 It really helped me. -
It seems like its a server issue, the owner is not experience the freezes because its his server. Or maybe you're computer cant handle 20+ players online. I used to be super laggy when 50+ players were on, but when I upgraded my computer, it was fixed. I do not think you should reformat you're PC because that wont fix it.
-
Seems like you have the bug where you can't push any buttons, the only way you can fix that is to re-start the game. My suggestion is when you begin the map editor, save the map, and it will automatically save, then if it happens you can just /exit and when you come back, you can simply load the map and continue where you left off

When you start up you're server with you're friend. Go into you're console and type "start (mapname)", or go into you're admin panel>then to resources>then check include maps at the bottom>then start you're map.
