Now before reading keep in mind that most of these ideas are connected one way or another. Putting peds in mta is just a bad idea. In later versions if you put car mod places, pay n' spray,ammu-nation, taxi missions,vigilante, paramedic, etc; it would be stupid to have the peds in the game because it would defeat the purpose of having all of the vehicle missions. Making money. I think that if you keep peds out of the game, over time a sort of economy would grow, slowly giving mta a more mmorpg feel, without that much work. Actully if you dont put peds in the game, it would save time and money. you should add a trading feature. This would also better reinforce the previous idea or not having peds, and having an economy. Lets say someone has made 20,000 dollars doing paramedic missions, and they want to buy a decent gun with the money they have made. Then lets say another person needs 15,000 dollars for a car they want to buy from some someone else, and they have a spare smg. The 1st person trades 15,000 dollars for the smg, and uses the rest of the 5,000 to buy ammo for it from the player selling the car. Then the 2nd person uses that 15,000 to buy the car he wants from the other player. Then all of the players would depend on one-and-other for one thing or another. A Bazzar/Merket to sell stuff at. You should put atleast 1 Bazzar/Market in each major city. It would be either its own building, or a group of terminals in an area where players are commonly at(If you'v played swg then you will know what im talking about). Players would put things up for sale like weapons, ammo, cars,armor, and other misc things that you might add to mta.You would put a item(Lets say a 9mm pistol) up for sale in the bazzar for a set amount of time(Lets say 7 days). Then you could either set it to a set price or an auction. the set price would be what ever you set it at(lets say 100$). The auction mode would put that item up for auction.If you have ever bought something on ebay, you will know what im talking about. People have 7 days(or what ever time you set it to) to bid on the item. Whoever has the highest bid when the time is up wins that said item. now here's the part that is going to make the player think. each day a player sells an item costs XXX(the next part explains how the money is set) dollars extra. Then the player has to decide how much that item is worth, what the probability of someone buying it it, and if their going to get their money's back in the sale. i will explain where the extra sale money goes in the next paragraph. A leader for each server.Each server would have its own 'president' or leader to orgonize events, set how much money a player will get if they do a vehicle mission and set the prices for pay n' sprays, ammu-nations,hair salons, tatto parlors, clothes stores and other misc places that a player spends money. Now how do the players help regulate what the leader does you ask? Well each server leader will be competeing to have the most players come to their server to spend their money, because all of the players money that is spent at the shops,bazzar and other places will all go to the leader of that server. Now with all of the server 'presidents' competeing to get the most players to their server, the prices for most things will go down, and that will be better for everyone. Then to quench the leaders greedy taste for more money they will try to out do eachother by orgonizing more, better, and cooler events to keep the players coming to their server. And how will they pay for these events you ask? With our money! So almost all of the money we spend comes back to us one way or another.The leaders would be admins and programmers thet helped create mta, because they would know how to edit all of that stuff more then we would. Finally... the end. I thought my ideas through and think they are decent, if not pretty damn good ideas, so plz dont flame them. I love constructive criticism and suggestions so please PLEASE if you read the least you can do is say if you like it or not. NOTE TO THE PEOPLE:i KNOW that this is a lot of work, and will take a while. If you like the idea atleast let me know if your going to add it or not. Also i KNOW that this would probably never be released in the 1st mta:sa mod, if it is added, it will most likely be added waaaaay down the line.

You could scatter some building ruins at key locations,burnt/destroied trees here and there, LOTS of craters, big and small, vehicle wreckages, dead bodies, and some downed planes. a person could join the battle, and if the side that that person chose won they would get come sort of cool item or an award, then the battle would reset 5 mins later so you could do it all over again. it would also be great to have teamwork, like have one person be sniper, and that person would cover 2 other players while they rush the enemy! *guys rush in* Teamwork wins! -
make a hover platform for dogfights...

You should make a hover platform about halfway inbetween the middle and the bottom of the 2nd altitude bar. you should put atleast 10 of each kind of plane,and heli that has guns and 3-5 of all of the other 1s. also you should put a hospital spawnpoint on it, so if someone is shotdown, they can hurry up and get back to another plane if their in a dogfighting competition. you should put it way out to sea, but not so far that we cant find it, but far enough where you wont see any land for atleast 30 seconds of flying, so its a completely flat dogfighting field. then some players could have jobs like flying mavericks to pick up players that want to see it.also if you do this you should get rid of all other plane spawn points, so noobs will meet other players, because some people have to cross path one time or another if you want to get a plane. OR you could not make it like a hover platform, but instead build it like a oil rig, and have a dock at the bottom, so if no one's on you could drive your own boat there, or you could make another mod for a ferry boat to go back and forth from like bayside marina to the dock. im pictureing it to be like about 30-35 seconds out to sea from the west side of san andreas. i kno this sounds like a hassle to try to get there, but i think it sounds like an intrestion and origional change. also its way easier to have all planes in one place, instead of some here and there.

it does not have to be intricit(sp?), jusy put a dead ped there, some cops taking some pics and a clue here or there. compared to what mta is doing, it sounds like a piece of cake, eh'? -
has anyone mentioned possibly using the ww2 planes? i kno it has machine guns on it, but their hella-hard to aim with, but it is still possible. would b 4 experts only. i have shot down a hydra with a ww2 plane, so dont go tellin me its not possible

You should build in a massive, and when i say massive i mean a divinci code massive mystery to keep people playing longer. now what i mean is that theres like a story line,not like cutscene or a huge massive storyline, just a base storyline and a bunch of clues to work around. heres an example: john smith was murdered at 15:16 game time at his summer home in the badlands. there were bloody footprints found at the crimescene, and a ransom note left next to his body. now its up to you to solve the mystery and find out who killed john smith. now you can explore his home, try to find evidance, and follow the clues to find out who killed him. you could hide a couple of different clues and riddles(extremely hard ones)in each different server to keep the excitement. now this is not a must do thing, but after you get bored, it is something to do. now you need a motive. the modivation to try to solve this mystery is that the person who solves it gets the most-bestest-ultimate-one-of-a-kind prize that you could ever get, and the person that figures it out's clan(if their in a clan) will get a really cool prize, just one thats to a lesser extent, and that no one els can ever get. but keep in mind this is just something that you could do in your spare time, or you could devote all of your time to it. your choice i would appreciate all constructive critiscm -

yah, the aircraft carrier would be even better. you could put the people fighting as army soilders vs taliban.(lol operation iraqi freedom) the taliban could have ak-47s and the army would have m4's, and with the oil field,and the cave right by the river and it being in the desert it would all fit right in. the taliban could spawn in the cave, the abandoned airfield and the northern areas of the desert, and we could spawn in the southern parts of the desert, and the aircraft carrier. also with area 69 being right there the WMD conspiracy thingey would fight right into the war too(except 69 would still be removed, but you could put a parody near one of the taliban spawn points that says on a sign: "NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION HERE" like the one on the gant bridge ) also you could make a mod to put some more caves into the cliffs north of the airfield. -
I always tought it would be a cool idea of you could customize guns. you could add special things onto it, like a thermal scope, a grenade launcher, or customize the paintjob. heres some of the custom gun ideas i had: Desert Eagle: Laser scope Bigger clip size Different types of bullets Different types of paint jobs(arch angle type paintjobs, not solid colors) Sniper Rifle: Thermal scope Night Vision scope Increased sight range Silencer Faster reload time Stronger bullets Explosive bullets (not full rpg, but to a lesser extent, like an extremely light rpg) Different paint jobs M4: Rpg attachment Short to medium range scope Bigger clip Laser sight Differant paint jobs those are just SOME of my ideas. You dont have to use those specificly, they were just used as an example. You could put a little work bench in the ammunation, a back room, or even an entirely different store. but the catch to customizing your gun is that you can only have a few of the possible costomizations, making each weapon as unieqe as the person weilding it. also when you die you keep the gun.

i love the idea, and i too am also new. you could (i dont know if its possible but...) all of the towns, roads, bases,(except the abandoned airfield and the quarry(the bases)) and most other things in the desert to make it a completely barren landscape, then add all of the spawn points and misc crap. the battlefield could go from the gant bridge all the way to the border where the east side of the desert and the west side of venturas meet, and then build the battle there. also you could make a mod that turns the raindance into a black hawk, the tropic into one of those boats they used in vietnam, turn the mesa into an army jeep, and turn the swat tank into one of those army tanks that can float on water, drive on land,that can hold like 6 troopers, and has a machine gun ontop(convert the hose to a heavy machinegun, or cannon). srry if i butchered your idea mr.x. also the war could be fought by using the gang territory system. each side has to take over each territory, and move closer to the enemy base. each time a side loses a territory they gain like 10 extra men or so to help to try to get the territory back.
