okay, i forgot the password, so i couldn't add any reply, but now im back and it's time to continue. about registration: what exactly command i need to type in the concole? if it's "/register nick password", so then it doesn't seem to have any effect. for me, at least. what should i do?

this is completely not a user-friendly manual, face it. for example the article about this acl thing: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Access_Control_List there's a shiload of things that can be changed, but which of them do i need to change to get a chance to add/register an account? do i need to change all of them, one of them, some of them? mta is a kinda old thing, but still there's no a plain and simple step-by-step faq for those who dont wanna have a server for over 9000 users, but want a cozy and silent server where they can polish their skills. why guys, why so? i'd played a lot of games in my time, for some of them i even establised servers (kaillera, cs, css, left4dead etc), but i've never felt sick of this all, i've never had a thought that there was no way out, there was always a light in the end of tonnel, a helping hand, an advice, a decision, but from my point, what i see here is that anyone who dares to try to play mta offline is doomed to spend the rest of his life trying to figure out what to do next. meh, this might look funny, but i've never thought that someday i would have to go trough the 9 circles of hell just in order to play a game. marvellous.

hi there guys, it's me again and i have a problem. you can see above^ what this problem is like, tho i think i need to add a few more words just to make it clear. first of all, theoretically i know how to play offline, i.e. i've to host a server, then choose maps i want to play on, specify some sever settings and then press "host server". looks simple doesn't it? FUСK NO, in fact this is where all the problems begin. first: in the vote select menu are not only those maps that i chose at the previous step, but ALL THE MAPS THAT I'VE EVER PLAYED, keep in mind that ive been playing mta for more than 1 year so far, so there're must be over 600 maps or so. this ain't a good thing that i play mta to much and either that i can't focus on those maps that i want. so, i ask you guys to help me out. yes, and there's also the second prolem: i can't grant myself admin panel on my own server. this is also wierd, so i need your instructions how to fix it. peace out!

oh, i understood it right from the start. here's my reaction, just in case you missed it: ok. in the future versions of mta this "server specific" will be fixed?

rumors.. if reinstalling can't help, how this "magic" can help? well, it's easy. my assumption is based on the fact that you can easily change MAC adress of your network adapter with the command prompt. Mac adress doesn't change after a reinstalling, but in the command promt you can change it. so, i suppose there's got to be A WAY to do the same thing with serial... and after all these discussions another question appeared in my mind: is mta the only game that uses serial banning system? because if no, it would be some much eaiser to go to some unofficial site in order to discuss and find the answers for the same old topic. i just realized that discussions the methods of avoiding serial here is similar to discussions details of a robbery on the site of the the bank that is going to be robbed.

this statment is correct only when you have dynamic ip. it might be vpn or some shitty dial-up. no matter. otherwise game over. ip bans can be pretty tough too, lol. i wonderz what kind of hardware it must be. i mean must it be something signifficant like graphics card or a new ddr is pretty enough... also, i heard that it's possible to change your serial with some "magic" actions in the command prompt.

so, yeah i got a question: is it possible to turn the hell off the chat icon? i mean don't make it less visible, drug or minimize, but remove completely from the screen? all those fiestas, shitstorms, floods and turkish invasions that are constantly happening from day to day, started to piss me off more and more, so perhaps, if can't see them they quit being so irritaiting? in my mind at least. so anyways, i need a hint, command, cure, anything to get rid of the chat icon. halp.
