I'd prefer if they are both in XP SP2 compatibility thouggh as this will somewhat can rid of the mouse freeze issue in the main menu. XP -> Make sure that MTA:DM and San Andreas are NOT running in Windows 98 compatibility mode! This wll get your MTA San Andreas Deathmatch client working again! Note: You don't have to uncheck all the "Video" graphics options and you don't have to delete [.set] file! LIST OF VISTA COMPATIBILITY COMBINATIONS AND THEIR EFFECTS!
