MTA 1.0 unexpected crash

my friend had to reinstall system because after installing .net 2 he couldnt shutdown his compiter

i have to reinstall after installing .net 3 because system started to throwing random errors, was preventing me to run 50% of games etc - it was just unusuable

i can list many of these

im sure nfs doesnt require .net if you know some kind of work-around. nfs not written in vb for sure

Well i cant really do anything about it. I guess theres no more San andreas online for me anymore and SAMP doesn't work either.

Are you running XP? To have not had a need to install .NET Framework 2.0, which was released in early 2006, seems mind boggling today with widespread use of the framework. I don't know what you guys are talking about regarding issues with .NET. I've not personally had any issues with it.

cris12821, are you running MTA:SA 1.0.4? If not, upgrade. Also, try installing .NET 3.5 and .NET 4.0 which may help resolve your issues with the .NET Framework.

hmm, maybe im using wrong applications - but i really dont have to install .net to be happy.

and last time upgrading to .net 3 only to install MSN (im using older version now) killed my just-installed system - and i will not forget it, never!

and i think uninstalling this will be safe for cris12821 - probably .net was needed only during install.. he can re-install it anyway

I suppose so. I would assume there was some conflicting program or misconfiguration of .NET in your case varez; if issues were widespread, Microsoft would have fixed the issues by now I'm sure.

i just installed legal (not pirated) clean copy of WinXP SP3 and installed winamp, winrar, opera, downloaded msn install, then .net install, after restart everything became unusuable im rather experienced pc user, tried a lot before giving up and reinstalling again.
